They help in improving the mental health and physical fitness of the body. Through participation in sports, we gain broad range of skills that benefit us. For example, an ability to narrow our focus and concentrate is important for the gymnast performing an aerial beam, the archer shooting at the target and the rugby league player attempting a goal conversion. Sports also teaches us teamwork. If we are introvert then it encourages us to collaborate and work as a team member together.
