Wildlife has a wide range of ecological, economic and cultural significance. It is the cornerstone of tourism and we humans have a strong bond with them. Each one of us has at least one animal who holds a special place in our hearts because of some qualities they embody.  My favourite animal is the Royal Bengal Tiger who represents every other animal on Earth. It depicts luxury, royalty, passion, camouflage, anger, solitary, fortitude, courage and pride. It is unique from every other big cat and loves to do things in his own way. The reality is that I find myself sharing some similar characteristics with it. To me it is like an inspiration but for the larger sector it is the true spirit of India. So, let us save it from the crisis it is facing right now. Let us as human beings become more benevolent towards it .  Here I am not only talking about the crisis faced by the Royal Bengal Tiger but I am emphasizing on the condition of the wildlife ecosystem as a whole. इस महामारी ने क्या कर दिया,  पढ़ने-लिखने व खेल-कूद का अंदाज़ ही बदल दिया | मैंने कभी न सोचा था कि मित्रों से नहीं मिल पाऊँगी, खेल कूद कर, उछल कूदकर मौज मस्ती नहीं कर पाऊँगी | नहीं सुबह की चहल-पहल, ना छुट्टी का शोर शराबा, ना ही रेसेस की धमाचौकड़ी, ना ही एक दूसरे के कान में फुसफुसाना |  गेम्स के पीरियड की मस्ती तो जैसे मैं गई हूँ भूल, वो दौड़ लगाना, उधम मचाना और अध्यापिका की डाँट खाना | याद बहुत आती है मुझको मित्रों के साथ साँठ गाँठ, वो खाने के समय के ठहाके, श्रिया का ढोकला, व आदि के परांठे,  पंखुरी का नींबू पानी  और हविशा की शैतानी |  घर में  रहकर बोर हो गए, कैसे रहे हम कूल | हे भगवन सुन लो बच्चों की, जल्दी खोल दो स्कूल, जल्दी खोल दो स्कूल | ~ मन्नत कौर
