Why Me?
Are you all aware of the first black man to win the U.S. Open, Australian Open and Wimbledon?
It is Arthur Ashe.
We receive several miseries, hunger, and constant thrashing in life. These(we can choose to see these as) are also the gifts that you have bestowed on us O Lord.
Arthur Ashe was the first black man to win the U.S. Open, Australian Open and Wimbledon? During a heart surgery in 1983, he got infected by the blood that he received and contracted AIDS.
From all over the world, he received letters from his fans, one of which said: "Why does God have to select you for such a bad disease? To this Arthur Ashe replied: "In the whole world 50 million children start playing tennis, 5 million learn to play tennis, 500,000 learn professional tennis, 50,000 come to the circuit, 5000 reach the Grand Slam, 50 reach the Wimbledon, 4 to semifinal, 2 to the final. When I was holding the cup I never asked GOD 'Why me?'. Today in pain I shouldn't be asking GOD 'Why me?'.

The same thing happens in our lives too.
Till the time we have happiness in our life we are jovial and sweet, but as soon as we have sorrow we start asking and questioning GOD: 'Why me?'. Why not the others. Why did you not choose the millions of others out there.
Now tell me when you were achieving something that the others were not, you never asked GOD 'Why me?'. When on his death bed Arthur Ashe did not ask GOD 'WHY ME?' as he was well aware that when God had made him this famous, he had not made anybody else, but him. GOD had chosen him among the millions the others and that is why he was completely out of any complaints. We need to understand that life is never going to full of roses, no one can get a bed full of roses, there will be obstacles in our way and that's what life is. Always getting fame and success is not the correct definition of life. Sorrow, failure, obstacles, problems are definitely going to come, but we should never ever in life complain because everything we have today, the success or failure or sorrow or happiness all of it is bestowed on us by GOD. It has been gifted to us and we should accept this.

Happiness keeps us Sweet, Trials keeps us Strong, Sorrow keeps us Human, Failure keeps us Humble and Success keeps us Glowing, but only the faith in God and the right attitude keeps us Going. The right attitude of seeing the positives and telling yourself that everything will be fine soon is what always keeps us going in life.
WE CAN CHOOSE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT WHAT'S MISSING OR BE GRATEFUL FOR WHAT IS GIVEN.
OUR HAPPINESS WILL DEPEND ON THIS ATTITUDE:ALWAYS REMEBER THAT.
Inspiring and motivating 💫
