This quote was spoken by Bill Gates - A Harvard university dropout and co-owner of a failed business Traf-O-Data, which barely even worked, was once one of the world’s youngest billionaire and he is still doing remarkable work. Do you think this was easy for him? Were there no barriers or hardships on his journey to success? I wonder, didn’t this all make him loose hope? NO. He didn’t let the hardships overpower him and never FEARED failure. The failure did not hold him back from exploring new opportunities. A few years later, he created his first software  Microsoft which scaled new heights of success. He always believed that failure allows us to come back stronger and more determined. His passion for computer programming, never give up attitude and strong will power made a whopping change in the software and programming field. He took a very big risk of starting his own business about whose success he was unsure but this insecurity didn’t stop him from exploring. His understanding of gathering experiences, feedback and learning  from them made him tougher and wiser. Taking this kind of a risk in  computer field could be like a disaster for many of us but for him it was a new opportunity to fly high with no limitations and exhibit his skill to the world. His life graph and achievements are an inspiration for all of us.

It was a warm and comfortable night, I was like a snug as a bug in a rug in my cozy bed when I unknowingly dozed off and I was in a fairyland with fairies and dwarfs dancing around me and singing melodious songs. I was sitting under the shade of a tree when a fairy came very close to my ear and said (snore... … snore.....) , that’s where my pleasant dream broke. That was my father, who was fast asleep snoring like an untamed lion who was ready to attack me any time. I am sure you can relate to the sonorous, grumbling and grating sound of Snoring. This is with reference to Shashi Shekhar's 2021: For India, a year of mixed fortunes (straightforward, December 27). I fully agree with the author. This year has been a real rollercoaster with frequent highs as well as lows. The rise in Covid deaths, emergence of a new variant, increased economic inequality, standoff between India and China, return of the Taliban in Afghanistan, firing of the Nagas and the sad demise of the First chief of defense staff and 12 others have left us stunned and horrified. Every Indian is hoping to never witness such a year again. However, as the saying goes, every cloud has a silver lining, the unfortunate happenings have  brought with it lots of glory for India.
